Vintage Finds of the Week

I thought I would share some of my finds from the past week before they get lost in the "needs to be photographed" pile ;) Most of these items will be available in the store soon. All of these were from an estate sale of a woman named Elinor here in Denver. Her home was like a time machine back to the 1960's. Tons of clothes and even more shoes, records, jewelry, postcards, scrapbooks... a huge basement full of stuff. These are my absolute favorite types of estate sales. It amazes and overjoys me that people keep such things for decades. I probably would have brought more home, but I was testing the husband's patience... 60's enamel flower power brooches & earrings, a velvet choker from the 70's, and two fun pins.

Cute little big eyed dog figurine. Looks like it's actually an incense / fragrance holder.

60's and 70's heels - purple lace up suede and colorblock strappy sandals. Both a size 6.5.

Well loved yellow 60's heels (couldn't leave them behind!) and Etienne Aigner woven leather flats with tassels. Both size 6.5.

70's era Levis with the orange tag.

Super high waisted with a bit of a flare leg. Probably about a size 2 / XS.

Gorgeous 60's shift dress with lace appliques. Comes with matching tie belt. About a size 6/8.

60's / 70's red & white gingham sundress with pleated skirt and matching belt. About a size 6/8.

Coolest find of the week: 1950's (or earlier??) chambray capri pants with side metal zipper. Denim look but fabric is softer.

One piece swimsuit from the 60's. Sears Junior Baazar, about a size medium / large.

Cute striped poly blouse from the 70's. Size large.
